My New Years resolutions are as follows - taking effect from midnight tomorrow.

1. Stop posting in PianoWorld
2. Avoid all on line piano courses
3. Concentrate all my piano efforts on playing the piano
4. Discipline my learning and practice
5. Listen to more piano play
6. Exercise more frequently

Happy New Year all

Because he plans on having a stealth log-in? or already does?

I thought the numbers were the number of weeks that he expects to be able to keep that particular resolution. wink

Ragtime:

Some questions...

1) I am assuming you will be studying with your teacher again?
2) Concerning your 4th resolution: On what will you focus your learning and practice? Classical? Pop? Jazz? Reading? Play by Ear? Some combination? Something else?

Good luck, and Happy New Year to you too!

Happy New Year all

Ragtime Clown, I right there with you on #1. I spend way too much time on YouTube and Pianoworld and have been slacking off with sight reading, Hanon exercises, and learning my new piece. My post activity has increased dramatically this week due to time off the last week of the year. yippie ..but might drop dramatically in 2010.. confused

Happy New Year everyone!

In response to your question angelojf

1. I won't be studing with my teacher, I told him before Christmas I was leaving lessons aside

2. My main musical interests are popular music, a little jazz and this will be performed with a
mix of reading notation and playing by ear (PM)
