I've been researching this and my curiosity is peaked because I haven't found any legitimate reviews of the Rocket Piano course. But I did find lots of fake reviews planted by them. So I kept searching and I didn't find one legitimate review.

What's interesting is that they have written reviews titled "rocket piano scam" saying that it's not a scam. This makes me really suspicious. They have done clever promotion to make sure their pages are at the top of the google results. That way if someone really did write a review saying it was a scam, they'd be hidden on a lower results page.

I must admit they have covered all angles and done clever marketing (internet is my profession), but at the same time as a potential customer I'm very suspicious.

Anyone used it? Is it any good?

I also know how to play some basic stuff in both hands. I'm looking to learn how to play interesting patterns in the left hand so I can play with fake books. If there is another course that is more specific to that then please let me know.

Thanks

If they have to plant fake reviews then I would seriously not try their course at all. Good things don't need fake ads.

I bought Rocket Piano. Rocket Piano is not a scam, however, it is for absolute beginners only. Since you say you are looking for left hand patterns to play from fake books, you already know everything Rocket Piano teaches. It will not help you. It was a waste of money for me.

Here is a suggestion. http://www.amazon.com/How-Play-Fake-Book-Keyboard/dp/0634002066

Finally I see a first hand experience. Thank you russ.

I have the book you recommended and have learned a lot from it. Guess I just need to put in more work.

Teodor - exactly my point. Even though it's $15 I'm not going to try it.
