Sojin piano bought from Santa Clara University, CA practice in'95.I am clueless as to it's value now. we want to sell. needs to be tuned. we paid $2600 in '95. can anyone clue me in? i have read about korean pianos, and some concerns re them. i appreciate it.

With the influx of better quality new Chinese pianos and the preowned gray market Yamaha and Kawai pianos at attractive consumer prices in the marketplace,I would guesstimate it's realistic value to be between $600-$1000 as a private party Craigslist seller. Sojin's withdrawal from the USA piano market doesn't help much as for reflection of it's present market value.

I agree with PB. Sojin was an entry level piano to begin with and the fact that they do not distribute pianos in the USA means there is little name recognition in the marketplace.

His estimate is "spot on".
