I have a Roland HP-207 which is great, but I am away many weekends, and am looking for a keyboard that I can travel with (in my car). I have been looking at the FP-7 and FP-4, both from Roland. Comments please. Thanks

Comments please. Thanks The FP7 and FP4 have very different keyboard feels. The FP7 is very close to your HP207. I'd go with that. You are going to need a case. Either one with wheels or a fold up dolly. Don't forget that you need to also move a bench and stand.

Thanks for your reply, I was thinking of just using a desk or kitchen chair for the weekends, and get one of those colapsing stands. Thanks

james, for me, X-stands are too flexible. Ultimately that becomes annoying. Quiklok's WS-550 looks like a better bet. Link. May be more difficult to fold up for travel, but I'd trade a couple minutes set up for a better playing experience.
