I post this in Piano Forum, but thought it might be some kind of digital piano, so I try here.

I came across this 1993 Yamaha HQ100 with FD auto player when looking for an upright piano for my children. I dont play and have very little knowledge about piano. The seller post that this is a 48" upright with "built in player".

When I look this up I find it listed as "Disklavier". These are a kind of digtial player piano. Real strings and real keys but also the ability to play a kind of disc that acts like an old piano roll.

What are you looking for? A digital piano? A cost effective upright acoustic piano?

Disklaviers tend to be expensive. Maybe more than you want for a beginning student.
