I'm working on an old grand with repetition springs located on the top of the repetition lever that hook into a string coming from the base of the wippen. These strings are either brittle or broken. Does anyone know of a good repair for this?

You should ask this in the regular section, not the FAQs.
The strings are usually held in with a pointed piece of wood that can be pushed out. Use the end of a round toothpick to hold the new string in.

Thanks. I did not realize I was in the FAQ, but your advice put me on the right track, so I won't even need to re-post.
