This may be a strange question. I am thinking about ordering a korg sp250 online even though I havent been able to find on to play on. I went to guitar center in Dallas to try and find one but they didnt have it. They did have the korg m50/88 which is supposed to have the same RH3 action as the sp250. I liked the action except the space between the keys seemed uneven. The space between all the B/Cs and E/Fs was larger than the other keys. My piano at home has a little more space between these keys but not as much as the m50. My question is for those who have an sp250. Are the keys pretty evenly spaced? Sorry for the long post and if this is a strange question. Thanks for any replies.

As far as I could see when I tryed it, there were small gaps between the keys, but nothing alarming. My Roland has bigger gaps IMO.

Thanks for the reply. Its not so much the size of the gaps, but that the gaps arent the same size for all the keys on the keyboard of the m50.

I used to own a Korg SP-250 and can't remember ever thinking about key gaps, so it obviously wasn't an issue for me. It certainly didn't affect my playing. Those uneven key gaps have been noted and commented on by new owners of the SV-1 (same action) but I don't recall anyone saying that it caused them a problem.

The SP-250 is a surprisingly capable instrument for the price - not perfect, but then what is?
