I'll be in the West End at the weekend and if I have time I'd like to try some DPs. I know Chappells in Bond St are pretty big, any other suggestions of shops with a good range? I'd like to try a variety of makes as well as models if possible, Korg and Kawai then Roland and Yamaha, would be my priorities. Yamaha and Roland are stocked in my area so I'm not quite so worried about finding them in London.

Chappells would be the biggest probably.

Thanks yes Rose Morris looks promising, they stock Kawai and Korg as well as Yamaha and Roland. Chappells website sugggests they only stock Yamaha!?
Does RM usually have a good range in the shop? I see on their website they have Dudley Moore's 1898 Bord upright for sale, a snip at £30,000! It would be cool to have a tinkle on that!

Does RM usually have a good range in the shop? Quite OK. There may be another shop or two nearby. We're talking opposite Foyles (Denmark Street).

Thanks I know the area, I've spent many an hour drooling over guitars in various shops and bought a gorgeous 1963 ES345td (Gibson semi acoustic guitar) from a shop a few doors away. I love Denmark St!
