I'm looking for a full size portable piano so that I can keep up my practice when I am staying away from home. Also, it would be useful to have full midi usb so that my son, who is studying music technology, can use it.

A dealer has suggested a Casio PX330 and offered a good price, though it is stretching my budget. If I can find something less than £500 I would be happy. My main piano is a Roland RG-1 which I love.

Any opinions of the Casio or suggestions of other options will be greatly appreciated.

Casio pianos offer a lot for the money. The PX-130 is keenly priced and the keyboard action is good.

If the PX330 is stretching the budget then look at the Casio PX130. It has the same keys feel as the 330 but few features and lower price. If you are going to travel with this keyboard don't for get to budget for a good case and folding stand.
