Hello all

I'm trying to decide between the previous top of the line Roland, the HP207 and the new mid range HP305. As the 207 has been discontinued it can now be picked up for around the same price or less than the new 305. From my research it really comes down to whether the new superNATURAL piano sound is good enough for me to sacrifice the extra bells and whistles on the 207 (piano designer, more powerful speakers and the like, I really like the idea of the piano designer). I've played the 207 but have not yet heard the 305, so would appreciate the views of those who have payed both digital pianos.

Here the HP307 is selling for almost the same price as the HP207 was. I would go for the HP307: the new PHA-III keyboard is only available on the HP307 and the VPiano right now and it has most of the features that the HP207 did (except for some of the cheesy effects which are now no longer needed given the increased expressiveness and realism of the super duper natural piano engine.

In this case, I believe it is worth it to buy the latest technology rather than stay one " model year " behind.
