I remember some years ago that I watched Northern Exposure. One particular episode stuck into my mind

It is episode from the 5th season and it is called "First Snow"

I remember that it begins with a images of alaskan landscape in autumn and in the background Kosma's classic "autumn leaves" was played, and it was some stunning interpretation

Recently i got divix with that episode, but the music is different?! how come?

Also do some of you have that particular interpretation in pm3 format (I do not know whose interpretation that was, but it was stunning)

This is happening more and more today (changing music on DVD's). Using royalty/mechanical free music from a Music Library saves money and keeps the DVD's down in price which equates to more sales and more profit.

It's a shame.

Do you know how to get mp3 of that music from original episode?

Don't know how to get the original episode, short of dealing with the pirates (which I won't do). There are a couple websites that make dvd's off the boob tube then sell copies. Lowlifes.

I'd love to get all the dvd seasons of the "Fugitive", but Paramount only released the first two seasons. I see the other season's are available online (but they have to be pirated dvd's).

OK, never mind the episode, I do not care that much, I only want that music, in MP3 or other format it doesnt matter, but the fact is I do not know what to search for, I know it is "Autumn Leaves" but I do not know whose interpretation it was? It was jazz interpretation, but nothing like Adderly-Miles, nor Baker-Desmond, it was some semi-obscure jazz musician I suppose.

It was really standard interpretation, piano-dauble bass -trumpet -sax -percussion

HOw about contacting the producer? You never know.
