I especially like #3 -- You know how new moms always ask, "did you wash your hands?" before you can hold their baby? Yeah... same for my piano.

I have a keyboard, but it is still a bit heavy (and it only has 61 keys)... My father tried to convince the guy who could accommodate me to pick me up, but he said he can't... I would also feel a bit guilty leaving my other instruments here on their own... I would really need a car and somebody who picks me up, so I can go with my whole family....

Schmoe, yes! I've been to 2 different houses this past year and "entertained" people with their piano. My childhood Kimball piano is at my sister's house and I play it whenenver I'm there. It's got a much different sound than mine.

Yes, it is a torture to sit still at a concert, particularly during the break!

Monica, yes, as a fellow disgruntled worker (disgruntled with the day job).....that's all I ever think about at work.

...you actually have two keyboards in addition to your real piano so you can carry around whichever one fits the space you're going to play in. You'd hate to miss an opportunity to play because the space was so small, you know. . .
