You're absolutely right about that dannylux... I did not recognize the name at all but looked it up on YouTube just now and what do you know, it's the circus music! Pretty interesting that something called "Entry of the Gladiators" got turned into "Entry of the Clowns" at some point in history.

Yes, it says Sousa, but it isn't, nor is it played a Sousa speed. (Sousa marches are snappy but at leisurely tempo; this is a circus march and needs to be played as such.) You will find a number of slower youtube performances and it works, sort of, but is considered unauthentic by band players.

Yeah, this is one of those songs that everyone's heard but never thinks that it has to have an actual name.
