As soon as I start playing the Grand Piano sound, I notice that the sound isn't that crispy; it sounds like a recording from a 1960's piano recording of some sort. Is it just me or I am too used to an acoustic? I really like the Guitar voice though, it's very clear. Will headphones make the sound better?

If you use good ones, yes, definitely.

I'm guessing you have one of the effects on (like reverb), or you accidentally pushed two buttons at once and you have dual voices, maybe the second voice is an epiano or choir. Unless you've stored custom startup parameters, you should be able to turn it off and then back on and get to a "normal" state, which should give you a pretty vanilla piano voice.

Yes, much better. The P155 doesn't have very good speakers so you'll probably want to either use headphones or run it through your stereo system, or buy some kind of separate speaker system.

I have a P155 also. Yes if you have very good headphones the sound is better. The speakers are just "good enough" for practice volume levels

But the very best you can hope for with any digital piano is for it to sound like a good recording of an acoustic piano. Speakers are the weak link of any digital piano. BTW, they made some good recordings in the 1960s.

When I first got the P155 I thought it lacked dynamic range but that turned out to be because I was afraid to really pound on the keys. I takes a surprising (to me at least) amount of force to reach ff.

The P155 speakers face away from you, or I should I say face in the same direction you are facing when you play the piano. I think the intent is that you place the P155 about 6" or so from a wall and let the wall reflect the sound back at you. So if you are not facing a wall you may be missing some of the sound.

Guitar sounds OK at first but there is much you can't do, up down strum patterns, note bending and so on. So the guitar sound comes out pretty boring.

One thing that really fooled me, the keyboard "clunk" sounds on the harpsichord. I thought the sound was coming from the P155 keys. I took my headphones off to check.

Oh I do notice that it actually sounds good from far away.. I recorded something, and I went upstairs, and it sounds a lot better. Maybe it's the location of the speakers, I'm not used to hearing mid range notes on left and rightmost part of the piano.

I notice the same effect, the P155 is very convincing if you are in another room

That is the difference between a digital and acoustic piano.. the sound on a DP comes from speakers. On the AP there is a huge soundboard, The physical size of the source of the sound is different. You can clearly hear this when you are close but when you are far away both pianos become closer to "point sources"

This is why I said the best you can hope for in a DP is that it sounds like a recording of an AP because the recording is played through speakers.

?? That is strange, mine goes only up to page 59. We're reading the same manual, right? My manual is greenish/blueish colour, and comes with 4 languages.

Can you play along on the keyboard while the songs are playing? That would be good for practicing.
