Hi!
I am very happy to tell that my piano piece "The lost Child" is performed by a real orchestra!

I made an orchestration of the piece and it was performed about 2 weeks ago by The Octave Chamber Orchestra:

Here is the link to the recording itself:

André,

Matt and Johan are most awesome musicians! I've had one of my pieces performed by the OctavA chamber orchestra as well! Do, please, correct the octave to octava instead (since it's everywhere in every link you provide!)

As for your lovely waltz, what can I say: Very nicely performed, very beautiful and greatly (romanticly) orchestrated!

Hi Nikolas!
Not sure what you want me to correct. I checked the spelling and it is correct.

He is referring tot he fact that the orchestra calls itself the "Octava" chamber group and your post refers to them as Octave.

Ow, that's a big mistake, but I don't see a way to edit my posts here. I will correct it on other posts were possible. Sorry for that.

Indeed, I think that after a while you can't edit your posts. I can edit my post above, but not the first one here, for example.

Your work is quite lovely (already mentioned it, but thought of doing it again). Did you manage to attend the premiere? If so I can imagine it must've been a great experience.

I changed the name on other forums and my own website.

No, I was not able to be on the concert, I live in Sweden and it's too expensive for me to travel to the USA. I am glad that there is the internet! Only one time before, many years ago, I was on the premiere of my first symphony in Holland, That was great!

Andre,
Amazing performance and composition.

I'm so sorry you weren't able to attend, but I'm so glad that you were recognized.

Congratulations on a haunting, poignant piece. How did you choose the name?

It's actually how I felt myself when I started to write the main theme. Lost like everybody has at some moments. The idea of naming the piece like the way I felt at that moment came later.
