Our new member count?

The registered member count just turned over to 50,000
(and no, that doesn't include the people banned).

Way to go, Frank!

Yeah.....I'd been watching it and noticed about an hour ago that we were just 4 short. I looked around the site to see if it's possible to see who the "newest" members are, so that we could tell who the 50,000th would be. I didn't find that we could. Otherwise I'd have been watching more closely for that 50,000th and I would have "crowned" the person.

BTW......do you know who it was?

I also noticed recently that we were approaching our 100,000th thread. That wouldn't have been hard to identify, and I was sort of trying to, but not compulsively enough to catch it when it happened. Which is probably a good thing for me.

That would make it Piano World the second largest city in Alaska, almost 10 times as large as Wasilla!

Piano World is indeed a fantastic forum for anything related to pianos. I love it, and like Steve, I think I’m addicted. It’s fun, entertaining and educational!!

I wonder though, how many members join to ask piano related questions or seek information or advice and don’t hang around for very long. I’m sure there are some, but I wouldn’t know the statistics on that.

.....and besides that.....'did you know'.....I think the most common number of total posts for a member is....ZERO.
So, the people who come in and just do a few posts and leave are doing better than many.

No idea who #50,000 was, but I joined a couple of days ago, and am thrilled to have found this forum. I found it while searching for advice on selecting a digital piano, but have been following several other interesting discussions as well. What a great group!
