Where I come from (Australia), one can be liable for misleading and deceptive conduct, if they are advertising materials which can be deceiving. There are also copyright laws which protect the true owner of intellectual property or respective copyrights. Also, if your site is purporting to sell goods and products, you may be liable for implied warranties that come with normal sale of goods. Any number of laws can govern the internet, but generally, for a small noncommercial website, a common sense approach will usually be good enough. _________________________ A painter paints pictures on canvas.
