[quote=(USSR). Non produced nowadays. [/quote]

And most probably, for many very good reasons.

I've played on one once. Also on a 'Tchaikovsky'.
They sounded not tuned for decades, but holding well that non-tuning still sounding reasonably melodious.
These were somehow designed robustly, to go out of tune graciously ;-)
And the slight beating of unison strings actually prolongs the sustain by making energy radiate slower out of the initial 'ping', compared to an exact unison.

By comparison, a 'wimpy unison' tuned German piano sounds atrocious if ONE note slides out of tune.

The first photo (fades out fast!) of this slide-show gallery is still a Krasnyi Oktyabr:
http://lectiipian.ro/lectii-pian-galerie.html
(there were several, but now many got replaced with photos from a recital on a baby grand. Cannot guarantee what will be on this page later...)

yes, that high black boxy box. "Krasnyi Oktyabr" is etched (more like scratched) on the front plate, in Cyrillic of course. Maybe visible after magnifying above slides ?

But how can you show them?
