I took piano lessons for 10 years as a child played casually for 5 years after that. I have not touched a piano for 5 years as I moved far away from my parents. I always wanted to buy one and have decided this could be a time for it. I would want the DP to feel & sound like a piano, all the other things are irrelevant for me. I would like it to have build in speakers. Piano would be primarily played by me although I do have an almost 3 year old daughter who has been asking for a guitar, violin and piano. I do not want her to take lessons on any instrument for a while but I want to give her a opportunity to play at home if she wants to. If she would someday reach a higher level than me we can buy her an acoustic piano.

I'm thinking of buying Yamaha P155. I could pay bit more (don't want to though) but only if it would give me clearly something better and I would actually notice the difference in quality. Do you think P155 would work for me and please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

I bought the P155. I got the matching stand to. I'd recommend the stand because it attaches with four screws and is "child proof". I thought it was the best in the "about $1K" price point. If you can go up to $2K then options open up

About the only reason not to buy the P155 is if want a "furniture" look and want wood tone or polished black finish. For many, this is an absolute requirement. If so you'd be looking at the CLP340.

Since you have many years experience, I would encourage you to go to a music store and try as many different brands as you can to see which feels best to you. If you've already done that and decided on the P155, then I think it's a great choice. I'd forget how they sound, you can fix that with external speakers or computer software. But the touch you can't change.
