Hi,

I'm new to the forum.

I've found much of the information on this forum very useful to help me decide on a DP.
I'm very low/poor student with a budget of ~$600 total, figured I'd never get a decent DP for less than $1000.

I've been ogling over the Costco web site for a few months now yawn and had my heart set on a PX-130 for $549 inc stand and bench, not bad I thought.... although what I really wanted was the PX-730 at $799 on the site, but it was just too much!

Today to my surprise when I went to my local Costco to check out what they had in store I found a PX-730 ...Errrm... I was thinking to myself what have we here...! a PX-730 for $519. whome wow deal of the century... exactly what I wanted yippie , but better and it exactly fits into my budget (inc tax).

Aky.

That's a great deal - congrats on your new DP!

Cheers,

I wanted to check out the PX-730 too. I went to the Costco today here in Richmond, BC but couldn't find any casios there frown

How do you like the action of the PX-730?

So far so good action seems good. I'm glad I purchased the PX-730 instead of the PX-130 it looks so much better in person.

Aky.

Congratulations on your purchase. It seems Costco in Canada has better deals on CASIO Privia DP. Just a few months ago they have the PX-130 with the wood stand and bench for 430 CAD. That's heck of a deal. PX-730 is 2 steps above. Enjoy your new DP!

Costco.ca also a promotion on the Casio Celviano AP-420 for 999$ (after 300$ reduction - Valid for orders placed March 15, 2010 through April 4, 2010).

I noticed this is not the first time they have such time-limited deals on Casios or Suzukis. My concern has always been about service from these companies in the long run - I just didn't know them, but if you're only spending 500$ for it, and it breaks, and for some reason you can't get it serviced, it's not as big a deal as a 3000-4000$ piano...

Wow, that's an insane price. I just bought a PX-730 from Costco online for $799! I went to 2 nearby stores and they didn't have them on the floor so I bought online. $280 less than the online price???????? Wow.

Anyone seen a PX-730 in a Costco in southern Ontario? It almost makes me think of driving up to Kingston - it's only 2.5 hours away.
