Adapting the pedal

I don't know if I should ask this here or on the pianist or piano forums. I have a student with cerebral palsy. She has done amazing things imo. One issue we have been dealing with recently is the pedal. She doesn't have the flexion in her ankle to properly use a foot pedal.
Has anyone developed adapters for this? I know that some of the original controls (i.e. Mozart's time) were activated by the knee. I would love to find a solution for her.

I don't know if anyone's created a knee level adapter, but if you use a digital keyboard, then you could attach the pedal to the underside of the keyboard with a bracket and a few screws, and other solutions might be available as well - like using sounds that contain a lot of reverb with layered strings, etc...

I did some research and found that there are some adapters for electronic instruments. This would work well for her home practice but not for times when she might need to use an acoustic piano (contests, etc.).
PianoDisc had developed a product. I called them yesterday only to discover that they had a fire a few years back and have yet to bring back all their products.
Morodiene, I did not see that article when I searched. Thank you. Since it is from over a year ago, there may be some further progress. This sounds the closest to what I would want: a motor controlling the pedal and a wireless control for the pianist. I wonder what is involved in setting up the motor.
