I have a Hal Leonard book called Mambos, Sambas, Rhumbas! Does anyone else have a piano book with Latin rhythm arrangements that they like? Thanks. smile

Hi Elssa. When I was searching before for Tango Rhythms I came upon these books.

The Latin Real Book

Salsa Guidebook for Piano and Ensemble by Rebeca Mauleon. Google up this lady. She is the expert on Latino Music.

Mandragora Band, a Minneapolis Based Tango Band. Their free book can be downloaded from their web site. Title Mandragora by Bob Barns. I think the link is http://www.mandragoratango.com/

I copied this information from my notes under my key pad. I save scratch paper to use for this purpose. This is all from when I was searching for Tango Patterns. I will send more if I still have the notes.

Thanks for the great links and book ideas! Looks challenging but fun. smile I also have Jobim's Anthology book, so looking for more like that, as well.
