Hi, my mother has a 1987 Clavinova electric piano. She is wanting to sell it, but neither one of us have any idea if it's even worth anything now. It's still in very good condition. Any advice or suggestions on the value? Or should we just donate it? Thanks.

Unless you happen to find someone who can use it for parts, it really isn't worth anything. I'd donate it and take the value of the charitable contribution.

I know nothing about these subjects but would say that there's a Clavinova 360n for sale locally to me for £400! I was going to look at it then realised it's 20 years old but i'm sure there's someone out there that will buy it unsuspectingly! Especially as the seller doesn't seem to realise how old it is either (bought from a 'shop' 2 years ago!

Even a 10 year old digital piano is "old" and hard to sell. You might ask $80 for it on Craigslist and then accept the first offer. Or donate it to one of the thrift shops and claim a $100 tax deducton

Try searching ebay under 'completed auctions' for the model number and see what (if anything!) it has gone for recently. I expect the other posters are right, though.
