Hi All, I have a problem with my Piano which have a loosen tuning pin, every time i tune up, suddenly the tunning ping go back again to lower pitch  , any suggestion to repair without change the pinblock? Thanks

You can have a technician look at it and determine the best solution. If there are no structural problems like a crack in the pinblock then you may choose to go to a larger size of tuning pin. The only other issue would be if you already have the largest size of pin in there now. In that case you would have to re-drill the hole after plugging it. The cheapest alternative would be to apply CA glue but this might not work well if the pin is too loose; it is also not the preferred method to repair this for many techs (including myself).

Your welcome. I should also mention that another solution may be to drive the pin in a little deeper if it has not been done already. Don't attempt this yourself unless you know what your doing. Precautions have to be taken with a grand first and you can create other problems if you drive the pin too deep. Also, some blocks on grands are not drilled deep enough to allow for this and will splinter away the back of the block.
