Wasn't sure where to post this, but thought some members may find this useful.

I am a member of a website called
Giveawayoftheday.com

Each day, a different commercial software is made available by the vendors, with a free download active for 24 hrs. Members receive daily email notification.

Every once in a while, there are some gems on offer, and today's offering is: 'Audio Speed Changer Pro' (normally $19.95)

There are about 21 hrs left, to grab this, if anyone is interested.

It is all totally legal and above board. Check it out for yourself.

Rob - Thanks so much for sharing this! I downloaded and installed the software and it seems to work well.

ROB -- I am not trying to hijack your thread. wink I would just like to add that AlShow is FREE. I use it all the time when I transcribe. It even slows down videos/dvds.

Here is the site:

No probs, Barb :-)

I realise there is alternative free software out there, but I was just drawing attention to the giveaway site, in case there were those that hadn't seen it.

Most days the giveaway is of no interest to me, but I did pick up MagicScore notation, and Socusoft video software, the other day.

Also worth mentioning, is that there are a couple of regulars there, who give great unbiased reviews of the software on offer, (always worth reading) and often recommend alternative free programs, which I would otherwise, have been unaware of.
