$100: Some used stuff - but that will be a big compromise

$500: Some CASIO keyboard in that price range

$2000: Kawai CA63

$10000: I need some more... to get a Yamaha N3!!!

Let's raise the stakes, shall we? Instead of stopping at $10000, let's add a couple of zeroes ... make it $1,000,000.

For that I'd buy any one of a number of nice concert grands (skip the digital) ... and not even burn through the first $100,000.

Given that neighbors (and even my wife) would object to the sound (sometimes), I'd buy a big, big house in the country. No neighbors to complain. And the piano would be 1000 feet from my wife's den, office, or living room.

A cool million would cover that, yes?

This should be enough for an N2 at least.

$100: seriously?

$500: maybe something used

$2000: I'd have to think further about this level.

$10000: AG N2 (without a doubt)

Same like mucci, only at $10k I might start looking for an acoustic...
