I'll fly to Cuba next week and will have a layover in Paris for 6-7 hours so I am thinking to take a walk around the center. I've been many times in Paris so I am familiar with the city but this time I will be with my wife and she's never been there and I will show her the Tour Eiffel, Avenue des Champs-Élysées, Musée du Louvre, etc. On going we will have 5 hours for that and on returning 7 hours, so we will be on a very tight schedule for sightseeing grin However I am thinking of any possibility to test Kawai CA-63 and Roland HP-305 for 10-15 minutes if there is a music shop near those central places because those models are currently not available in Bulgaria mad I am especially interested in the Kawai, because I almost paid and ordered one, but in a final moment of thought I decided to postpone a little and now it's a good chance to test it myself first.

So, fellow forum friends from Paris, can you help me with a location of a music shop having those pianos near Paris center?

Hi !

I know only one piano dealer which have the CA-63. They also have the HP 305. Here's the website of the store :

http://www.centre-chopin.com/index.php

It's in the east part of Paris, near the Père Lachaise cemetery. Here's the adress : 175, rue des Pyrénées.

Yes, I also saw the Centre Chopin. Otherwise, just go to roland.com and the dealer locator. 3 Paris shops have websites, but only Centre Chopin seems to have Kawai as well. If you speak French, you might also try kawaifr.com - check under 'Revendeurs'. A couple of shops in the Paris area come up, but no links to shops.

Otherwise I remember that a lot of music shops are in the area of the 'Rome' and 'Europe' metro stations, but I don't know about digital piano stores.

Anyway, it might be a good idea to give them a call before to make sure they have the DP's ready when you pass by.

Good luck!
Cheers

Indeed, there is a piano dealer near the 'Europe' metro station, near the Saint-Lazare railway station. It's called 'Piano international'. They don't have the CA-63. However they have the HP 305. Here's the adress : 50, rue de Rome.

Here's their website :
