What are some of your favorite recordings?

This subject came to mind since I am listening to one of mine as I write this. Cleo Laine "That Old Feeling," CD. Using Ultrasone and Grado headphones and a small headphone amplifier that connects to computer USB bus.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmass--Bob Ralston, pipe organ.
Toccata & Fugue--Peter Hurford, pipe organ
Time Warp--Telarc (Look out!)
Thanks For The Memory--Tommy Reilly, James Moody, chromatic harmonica and piano.

But Beautiful-Jazz Piano Improvisation
Evgeny Kissin-Prokofiev Piano concertos 2&# (HD)
Offenback-Jacquelines Tears--Han-Na-Chang, cello
Zigeunerweisen--Sarah Chang, violin
Bobby Mcferrin sings Vavaldi-1 (quite unusual)
JK Wedding Entrance Dance (also quite unusual)
Pasman Csardas, etc.--The Philharmonics, good harp, etc.
Out Of Africa movie soundtrack--John Barry
The Best Pianists-Part 1-11
Best Pieces for Solo Piano-1-6
Somewhere In Time-Maksim, Fazioli piano!
Stardust--Sarah Vaughn
Tree In The Meadow--Marty Robbins
Jingle Bells--Lola Astanova, classical pianist
Stardust--Chet Atkins & George Benson
Deep Purple--selenny1, classical guitar, 8 strings
Acoustic steel string guitar--Tommy Emmanuel
Blue--LeAnn Rimes
Crazy, Sweet Dreams--Patsy Cline
Maria Elena--Rob Bourassa, steel string acoustic guitar
Since I Fell For You--Lenny Welch
Only You, Twilight Time, etc.--The Platters
Love Letters--Ketty Lester
Don't Take Your Love (from me)--Frankie Lymon
Sting--Spanish Guitar Solo
Flight Of The Bumble Bee--Dr. Carol, pipe organ ("foot work"
Flight Of The Bumble Bee--Hyun-Jung Lim, piano (amazing speed)
I've Got Rythm--Hiromi Uehara, piano
Spain--Hiromi Uehara and Chick Corea, piano
If I Had You--Nnenna Freelon

My honest guess is you're gonna love a bunch of these. I am having a blast with YouTube, and headphones. Both are new to me in terms of "computer music." Just great!

I hope others will list their favorite CDs, DVDs and YouTube finds.

Music. One of man's greatest inventions. And...for me, the piano expresses it best.

Here's another that's great.

Dvorak-Humoresque-Yo-Yo Ma, Itshak Perlman. Type this in the YouTube search box.

Great sounding blend of violin, cello and orchestra.

Definitely one of the best musical performances I've ever listened to.
