Hi all,
I'd just like some advice on getting a new DP. I'm selling my Kawai CL25 and am hoping to purchase not only a new DP, but also a software piano, for the ultimate in nearly-real piano playing!

I'd like some advice on the DP that I'm to buy:

- I have about 800 GBP (or about $1300 AUD) to spend on a DP.
- Main concerns are a nice touch, (wooden keys would be great, but I understand they are an expense).
- Ivory-touch keys are appealing, as I've tried out some bottom-end yamahas, and they keys are so flimsy and plasticky, and sticky-feeling that they just aren't playable to me.
- Half-pedalling support would be great.
- 3-pedal stand would be preferrable.
- Midi or USB out of course, for connecting to software piano
- On-board speakers, for when I don't feel like booting up a computer!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
P

I've been researching prices. Could someone give opinions on the following pianos for me please:

Kawai CL35
Yamaha CLP320
Yamaha P155
Casio PX-830
Casio AP220

And their pro's and con's, and I'd be very interested to hear from people that have tried more than one of these, to compare. And if anyone has used these with piano software, and their thoughts.

Many thanks,
P.
