I have posted a short (?) article with some new ideas on interfacing to the Live Performance LX piano, on my blog. the method works equally well for Disklavier, Pianodisc and Pianomation but my experience is with the LX. I previously used Itunes and an Airport Express for wireless control but have developed a much better system which allows for control of the piano from any computer in the world as well as from an Ipod/Iphone or Ipad. If there is sufficient interest, I'll write a detailed article with step by step instructions. This system will also work for a "killer" digital file server for your stereo. The blog entry can be found at: http://spencersviews.blogspot.com/2010/05/interfacing-to-lx-reproducing-piano.html Be sure to copy the whole link. You can also find a link to my blog on my web site at www.spencerserolls.com

Thanks Spencer. At the last NAMM show 2010 in Anaheim, CA, PianoDisc demonstrated a similar system connected to their IQ system that you have described in your article. They were utilizing Apple’s TV as sort of an ITunes server and was being remotely controlled from an iPhone/iTouch Check out this link http://www.apple.com/appletv/whats-on/music.htmlJeff Tasch
