What is the street address in China? It's a knee jerk reaction for me, but when I see Western Union as a method of payment, I get suspicious.

All reputable companies deal with international wire transfers. I'd ask Jerry about that.

This has SCAM written all over it. Of course, you could attempt to buy a keyboard, get scammed and then report back to share your story. Think of this as a public service.

Only $1100 for a $2600 piano???
And payment by WU or bank transfer???
SCAM!

If you buy one, I suspect this will become $1100 for no piano at all.

If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

How would they ever get caught? Let's say to wire transferred the money and then he stopped communicating with you. What would you do, go to China yourself and try to find him? Do you think he ever used his real name or address?

If they don't accept credit cards ignore them. The CC companies will all charge back the money if the goods are not delivered but the payment methods he accepts offer no recourse. That alone should be enough of a clue that it's a scam.

hi, the phone number he gave me apparently belongs to someone else (+8618751847570)

so you wont have much help when you call to complain you didnt receive what you paid for

the guy also accepts bank transfer or western union only and no means of payment that include a bit of security , not even international credit cards

i asked about payment with paypal or escrow but no way wink

obviously a scam and very easy to figure out as well

karsten

That should be enough.

Another thought: when you deal with alibaba or aliexpress, sellers usually list in catalog last and newest models. These look very old and, I suppose, out of production!

Tyros 2 ?????

k madsen: The original posting was done nearly two years ago. Are you now referring to the same web site and/or the same scammer?
