Recently purchased an ediron Roland 61 keyboard/midi controller for creating computer music. I use computer music for background on videos. It is difficult searching and playing all the royalty free stuff on the web. So, I thought with a music creation software/loops and using the keyboard to create the melodies. I could get it done a great deal faster I would think.

Thought I might look into some piano lessons as well.

1. The keyboard is 61 keys, but has an octave Up/down switch very accessible. It should work fine to start.

2. Looking to take some online kind of lessons. I would be nice to have few recommendations.

3. My experience with any instruments 20+ years ago. I could read music, but don't think I can remember now.

4. So... I'm thinking doing a play by ear course would be a good start. I want to stay interested, not like before. LOL

youtube can be helpful in this area. There are videos of exercises to practice, vidoes to help learn entire songs, which helps expand your "by ear" learning, ect. Type in "piano tutorials", "piano lessons",ect in the "search" box, and you'll have enough stuff to keep you busy for quite some time.
