Do you realize how confusing it gets when someone changes the subject of a thread?

If you go to the full reply screen, you can change the subject. The problem with this is that it changes the subject in most recent post column of the all forum view and the recent posts, but not the original subject in the forum itself.

So someone sees a new posting on the thread "Assignable Encoders...?"
They go into the Digital Pianos forum and there is no sign of a thread labeled "Assignable Encoders...?"
The actual posting is in "CP5 ... some thoughts"

If you see it pop up and want to come back to it later, how would you ever associate what appears to be two separate threads?

I've also seen this happen on the Alfred's threads in the ABF. It usually is when someone wants to introduce themselves or ask a new question. I don't know if they are thinking it creates a new thread automatically.

Sorry, but this feature drives me nuts.

That one was driving me nuts also this morning. But I thought it had to be done by the OP. Didn't know anyone could edit the subject with a reply.
