I challenge you to play these songs, record them, and post them. (I wrote all of these songs)

The written score is in all of the details to the videos as well.

Here's the first song. I wouldn't say it's hard, but I'd be impressed and excited to see someone play it for real.
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzDLD6kdTTw
Sheet music: http://www.noteflight.com/scores/view/6fff5e93ce19b6251a7f73258fb788cee2a53e8f

Here's the second one. Very hard, but not purposefully impossible.

Sheet music: http://www.noteflight.com/scores/view/8732a488bb61475f243f97084ecea006234c9e46

Third one, everybody's favorite:

Sheet music: http://www.noteflight.com/scores/view/a58e1610957f3c8bf138725bdcab78c638c3dc3c

All the sheet music can be printed out. It's under file → print
It can also be read from any other music reader thing. You just have to export it as a midi file.

The other ones on my channel are just for fun if you want to learn them grin

Here's how to motivate us to do it:
Make it a "competition." smile
Cash prizes not necessary. ha

P.S. Listened to the first one....sounds pretty cool.

Another way to motivate us: present it as a written score. I wouldn't know how to learn it from your format.

There is a written score. Just read the details. The written score is in there, they're at noteflight.

Don't sweat it, I'll just include it into the main post as well.
Will anybody answer the call?!

I like the second one best, but the Noteflight score displays as a single 100-measure line instead of wrapping. If I had 8.5x50" printer paper, perhaps I could print it in landscape mode. :-)

You can change that.
It's under view.
I'm sorry there's all these technicalities, but you can smile

These don't look like solo piano pieces to me. Even disregarding the drum parts. Leaving aside whether they are worth bothering with, am I missing something?

What do you mean? They're too hard, or not hard enough? Or do you mean that they look like multiple people should be playing them?
Rockarandy is based on a rock song, so it's definitely not supposed to be alone, Classically atonal and Toccata in C minor are.
Admittedly there are some extra octaves in some of them to make them sound better, but they are for the most part 100% playable. Maybe get rid of some of the extraneous two octave trills.

Yeah, that's sorta true, but sorta embarrassing. I just think it would be really really cool to have someone play one of my songs.
I only really became a member so that I could post these songs for you guys to play, because I would have figured that you guys would have wanted to learn new songs. The answering the call was just being facetious.

Each of them seem to have parts that are physically impossible for one person to play. As a Duet yes its probably possible, but some parts in the songs just wouldn't work.

All of them still look fairly challenging. Kinda catchy tunes too.

Yes yes. But the second and third songs are totally playable... I can play them. The only thing is that there are some octaves that don't need to be played.
I would post me playing them, but I don't have a video camera.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think you have way too high an expectation of what's likely to happen on a discussion site.

Especially if you're a newcomer, you're way lucky if people just look and listen to your music.

And BTW I think you're doing great with that so far. The only thing that's not A+ is your expectations. smile

Well thanks. I figured all I have to do is keep it as the front thing under piano corner smile
Like I'm doing.
Those aren't really my expectations; they're my hopes smile

Good distinction. smile
I actually wondered a little whether to say "hopes" or "expectations" in that post. ha
