no I'm not trying to provoke some deep and meaning full discussion as to whether we are alone in the universe (though feel free if you like! whistle), rather looking for a decent sheet version of this classic Bowie song...

getting really frustrated now, I've bought two versions only to find they're either overly simplified or quite far removed from the original. I'm about grade four standard, though very rusty and for me to sit and learn a new piece I at least need a bit of a challenge to keep me interested!

So if anyone can give me the name of a book or point me in the direction of a site I'll be forever grateful, I'll even post a vid of me singing/playing and dedicate it to you if you like!! (in many many months time wink )

Actually, I thought this thread might concern the television series by that name in either its British or American incarnation. smile

I recommend you repost your query in the Non-Classical Forum, where it's likely to be seen by more people who can help.

Oooo, I loved it (in the original British version). Maybe because I remember 1973 so well smile

I can't vouch for the accuracy but have you tried here?

I thought you were asking about the sweet little piece called "Est-ce Mars" by Jan Pietersoon Sweelinck... smile

Fun fact: Rick Wakeman actually plays the piano on the original, as a session musician.
