Any ideas ? I need a good upright piano but not too expensive. I want to improve my skill in this summer. Some 1000-1500 USD pianos are the best choices for me. I can not afford more than that. A thief stole 1000 euro from my dad and 500 euro from the credit card(Damn you thief, that was a lot of money !). And waiting is not an option. I read some websites but I still cant find

It is doubtful that you will be able to buy a new piano in that range, so you need to find something used. In the used market you are limited to what you can find.

While I advocate real acoustic pianos (or ones with a real acoustic action), for that kind of money you could buy a decent digital piano.

If you really want an acoustic upright consider placing an ad in a local newspaper or post an ad at your local supermarket. There are many people who have pianos in their house and don't use them. My brother has a spinet in his house that never gets played and he's had it for 25 years or so. He's just gotten accustomed to having it in his living room.
