I saw this on a friend's FB page and it was so delightful I wanted to share.

Here is a couple who know something about the joys in life and how to share them.

(Note - I've edited this because the link didn't work, so the following 3 posts "should" no longer be relevant!)

i've seen this, i really like the idea of placing a grand piano in a lobby of a hospital, or rather any public lobby would be awesome.

casinitaly - Very enjoyable - thanks for posting - they played very well (what was that jaunty tune?), but, as will soon be pointed out by the staunch adherents of such vastly overrated and extraneous trivialities, their posture & wrist/elbow angles leave much to be desired laugh

JF

P.S. Was he deliberately grabbing her butt in the cross-overs or just trying to keep himself from falling? smile

I liked how he kept pushing the bench back so SHE'D have more room...lol He looked like he was having a great time. I take my sister-in-law to UofM for cancer treatments every 3rd Thursday and they have a small grand... this week I'm going to throw the cover back and tinkle some ivories...always seems to be a waste to just let it sit there untouched. They do have a volunteer sign-up sheet, but hey, spontaneity is always better.

You're not obliged to like it ! Different strokes for different folks.

I can think of lots of reasons someone might not care for it, but I found it delightful.

Old age piano music!??

When did an "old gray bonnet with a blue ribbon on it" go out of style?

Ein-Oldy is pretty good if you are interested in this genre. Perhaps Monica knows of his work wink

Which genre - Old Age?

Some people like to refer to New Age music as "contemporary instrumental" music (as a more meaningful and acceptable, less-ethereal sounding alternative) - so, I guess by the same logic we could call Old Age music "non-contemporary instrumental" music, although what exactly is contemporary depends on which generation you're in (contemporary being always with us, so to speak, just like the future is never quite here) - for example today's Ein-Oldy New Age contemporary instrumental pieces are tomorrow's Old Age non-contemporary pieces (even if some cynics are already saying they're "Old Hat" laugh ).

Food for thought...

JF
