I would enjoy hosting a piano party in my home. I have 4 very different acoustic pianos and one digital harpsichord to share (see my signature for description of instrument collection). Let me know if anyone "out there" would like to come.

I am from the Fox Valley area, but would be interested in traveling to Madison to participate. I have another friend up here who has expressed the same interest. We have not tried to put together a piano party in the Fox Valley, but we could try. Otherwise we could join you.

Thanks for responding. I'm looking at a Saturday afternoon in early Nov. That way people within a 125 mile or so circle could easily drive here and home on the same day if they wish. Madison has so much to offer that an overnight is worth the visit and I can recommend some great ethnic resturants too.
I'll try to keep this post current and will announce details when I get a little more input from others.
In the meantime if you know of a get together in the Fox Valley I would try to make the trip. I especially enjoy seeing and hearing unusual pianos and restored vintage instruments.

I would possibly be interested in one either in Fox Valley which is nearer to me or also Madison where my son's family lives.

Well - some of us aren't all that interested in the sports thing. But for the sanity of trying to drive to Madison on a Saturday an away game for the UW varmits might be the best choice - tentatively opting for Nov. 2. Thanks for the input, "blueman."

I live on Madison's far east side -- would just be a 15 - 30 min drive down 51 to get to McFarland. Would be interested in attending -- let me know how it pans out.

hmmm.. i still don't have my November schedule yet. I sure wish i lived closer. Ditto me, but if I'm free that weekend I could drive on up. (And thanks, Mary, for letting me know about this.) I'll admit I'm intrigued by a 4 octave Schonhut.
