Congratulations on your new piano!

Really great shots too - what a talented bunch we have here on PW!

Cheers,
James

I was very busy recently.
I fear I have to brush up my home a little bit...

definitely not as messy as my dump!

could barely find the room to put the CN33, couldn't imagine fitting that spaceship in there now! Not to mention how heavy it must be!

An offtopic question: Is your keyboard of the satin black really neutral white? Or did you desaturate or choose the white balance on the keys?

I am asking, because my keys are looking ivory colored.

I just had a closer look, it's definitely ivory. I desat all-bar-red because my room is full of debris which reflects some spilled light back onto the DP (yellows, greens, etc)

Great pics. I'm pretty glad mine came assembled by the store. :-) Enjoy your CN33, the rest of us here are. Let us know what you think and add to the conversation and enjoyment of this DP.

Mawima, eyst, I agree: the keys in that picture do look a little bright.
There's certainly a 'warmer' ivory tone to the new Kawai keyboards.

Cheers,
James

Just an update, I got my Kawai CN33 in July to start learning the piano, and I've finally finished learning my first song. (albeit still with flaws)

It's the theme to a game I liked, and I've been practicing for hours on most available days since. Time to learn a new song!

I love my Kawaii! This was recorded from the headphones out into line in on the computer, straight to Audacity, normalized, and then added a very subtle echo.

Ignore the sheet music, I can't read it. If you look really carefully, one of the pages is upside down smile

Thanks again everyone.
