Elssa ~ another oldie but goodie with Tico-Tico. Not such an easy rhythm - you did great. I loved it!

Ed ~ love that combo feel. It is time for you to get some gigs around town. Kind of Blue is a classic - great choice with Freddie the Freeloader!

ANDY-Well done! Good articulation, very enjoyable.

RICK-Oh, this was a kickin' start to my week! Nice one, I really enjoyed this!

ED - cool This is so great! Very pro, I loved it!

ELSSA - Love those Latin rhythms! I grew up listening with my dad to this and many others. Thanks for bringing this back to me!

GLEN - "That's All", Very cool! Loved the ending. And "Three quarters of One"- another amazing "idea", wishing it was longer.

Think less - play more

Peyton, exceptional work. I especially enjoyed your piano solo. That was terrific. I must confess to being confounded by the lyrics, but this is a beautiful song and your voice goes well with it. Impressive performance!

Rickster, I did not read thoroughly and expected the old Platters song. Quite a nice surprise to find this new blues instead. Had to go back and read more carefully. grin I do love me some blues. Very fun song!

Glen, I love listening to your interpretations of the standards. You should cut an album. What a gorgeous sound. Truly wonderful!

Ed, that's a pretty sweet Freddie Freeloader. I must confess to not being a big Davis fan (heresy, I will admit), but this is a piece I've always liked, and you did it up right. Nice blowing, as the jazz cats used to say.

Andy - nice Bach. Very refreshing.

Rickster - nothing like a little blues to brighten my day smile When's your album coming out?

I've been on sort of a Paul Simon jag lately. This is a piano/vocal cover of his song America. I really like the lyrics and the story that he tells.

I was wondering something similar myself. Bill - have you just got the lyrics up there or the chords too? Thanks for that great version ... somewhere I have a Simon & Garfunkel songbook I need to dig out.

  • Debussy - Le Petit Nègre, L. 114
  • Haydn - Sonata in Gm, Hob. XVI/44

Thanks everyone for your nice comments.
Peyton: I love seventies musics. They have great melody and meaningful words not like the stuff I heard on radio today (like Ke$ha and Gaga sick)
Andy: I love the simplicity in your playing. I heard this piece before but this is the first time it makes me want to learn to play it
Rich: You are a pro. You can play any type of music but Blues fits you best.
Glen: That is very relaxing piece. I can sit at the bar all night to listen to that type of music.
Ed: I haven't heard this piece before but I enjoyed it a lot.
Bill: Great playing as usual. I would like to hear your accompaniment on an acoustic so it would be clearer, just because I like to learn from it thumb

BILL - Another great Simon song! I found myself singing along - you're right, it tells a great story. One of those (like almost all the Beatles' songs) that I know all the words to. Just wonderful accompaniment!

Hey Peyton, that sounded great for being on a horse. I'm surprised the mics didn't pick him up. wink
