Hi all, I've made a very short piece of jazzy sort of music. You can listen the recording here. The intro ain't that jazzy, but the rest is. I've never really played jazz before and I therefore don't have a clue of what notes to play. I would like to receive some feedback on things I should learn, maybe appropriate scales or something? I ask this because I'm having a hard time finding jazz I like. A lot of jazz is just too "modern" for me, or well, I don't think it's music anymore. So I'm having a hard time "copying" styles as well, and I would therefore like to know which jazz scales etc. are suitable for jazz I like (which is the kind'a jazz I recorded above).

Thank you for the compliment TromboneAl. With "Time feel" you mean like the ear for tempo or something? Are there any comments on the actual notes played? Have I missed and/or skipped some essential jazz notes for example? It's in the key of F and the chords are: F A Dm G C F

Thank you very much. I'm going to listen to a couple of albums from Louis Armstrong. I'll keep that transcription link in my mind, but prefer figuring things out myself. It's a good learning experience. Thank you again.
