Are the audio inputs on the AvantGrand 1/4" phone type or RCA type?

Thanks, Rob. I had indeed checked the manual, but manuals are not always clear or accurate, so I was looking for an actual eye-balled response! I've seen phone mean RCA when it should actually mean 1/4", for example. Sometimes the the translations are, well, translations!

I imagine that confusion may arise between US and UK terminology: phone (TS & TRS) is commonly called jack in both countries but seldom 'phone' in the UK, where RCA is more often referred to as phono. I've done some audio work in Canada, but don't recall any distinctive linguistic habits, sauf de parler francais quelquefois.

In the manual they call it a phone plug and draw a phone plug. If you don't entirely trust the manual (and you may be right not to if this really is terribly important) then you maybe should consider whether posts from strangers on an internet forum can offer the appropriate degree of confidence...

I'm sure that if you call a dealer, they'll be glad to confirm the connectivity for you.

Lawrence I haven't seen one but I have no doubt the connections will be quarter inch jack plugs...they were on the GranTouch. In addition, the left input can also function as mono and this facility is common of course, but almost always where jack plugs are fitted, not RCA/phono.

Cheers,

Steve

Lawrence, on my N3, as confirmed visually, both the IN and OUT stereo jacks are female type quarter inch jack plugs (and not RCA).
