I was raised practicing classical music because that was the norm. However, I didn't prefer it because it just wasn't enjoyable for me. Being part of the younger generation, I've always loved RnB, HipHop and Jazz (or any mixture of those).

I've discovered a few artists recently and just fell in love with these tracks:

DJ Deckstream - Life Is Good (Ignore the lyrics if you don't like Rap)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fu5UVpLvGck

DJ Deckstream - Funny Love
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfVe1ABFkq4

I really enjoy the piano on these tracks and am starting to learn how to play in this style by ear.

Can anyone name the style for me (if it has one) and also suggest any artists that play like this? I know Burt Bacharach is similar along with Richard Clayderman, and I'm starting to get into their music.

This style of piano music relaxes me - the kind of music you would hear in a lounge, bar or hotel lobby.

EDIT: A quick google search leads me to believe that the piano is in the "Cocktail Piano" style. Is this correct? Any musicians that play similarly to those Deckstream tracks?
