I've had quite the frustration with my Casio AP-25 piano, bought around 2002 when i started piano. It somehow broke after lots of beethoven sonatas/etc.

It's not completely broken, as it will ignore dynamics completely based on touch! But this is, troublesome. There are no dynamics!

I'm looking for a digital piano recommendation yet again. My budget is no more than 1000 dollars. i would consider a acoustic, but space limits me as well as noise.

I wish for something that has real pedals (not a plastic switch), a Sturdy frame, and authentic touch. I've seen some that mimic the look of a extremely baby grand (fetal grand?) that sound excellent, but I am not sure.

Anything is appreciated!

About the pedals. All pianos have 1/4 inch jacks where you can plug-in a pedal. Good ones cost $25 so if the piano comes with a plastic foot switch you can always add nicer pedal later for about $25.

So you played the AP25 for eight years. That's a long time for a digital piano.

Your $1K budget is right on the dividing line between entry level and mid range pianos. If you can go a bit higher your options open up a lot. But for under $1K most of your options are Casio.
