Just had this idea:
I have my students participate in the nfmc festivals every year. What I usually do is play all the pieces in the students level and then the students choose their favorite piece to play. But I thought, that in this day and age, why not get a group of instructors together and upload videos of the pieces onto youtube. Students can preview all the pieces they want to play in one place and the instructors don't have to hassle with hundreds of pieces of music.
The way I figure, for any instructor interested, each person would be responsible for a level. They go out, buy all the music for a level, record themselves and either send it to me or upload or something. (I haven't thought this part through yet.)
But, any way. Just a thought. Let know what you guys think.

My students don't do that particular festival, but they do participate in others and this would be a good resource. Many times they look on Youtube and listen to their pieces done by someone else, but the quality of the playing varies!
I'd love to have a trusted area they could go to and listen to pieces.
