I use Sibelius to create lead sheets. A bass player friend called me up to get together and I suggested that I send him a few lead sheets to first have a look at. Since my files have the sib extension I was wondering how I would send them to him since he doesn't have that program.
He suggested I download a free program called PDF Creator. I Googled that, downloaded that program, and easily printed out a few sib files to that PDF program. I then sent those pdf files as e-mail attachments.
(I already own Adobe Acrobat but don't believe I can convert a sib file to pdf format.)
At any rate, this program is free and made this chore very easy. Just passing this on. This program installs itself as a printer and you simply choose PDF Creator as your printer and print.

A not so minor correction. It seems I can easily print Sibelius files to Adobe since I already have Acrobat on my computer. If you have Adobe Acrobat on your hard drive this free program would be redundant.

Another way to create quick prints is to use "export graphics" -function. Every system can read png files.
