EXTRA NOTE:

An answer (in part) has been found as to who plays the CVS Pharmacy on hold music:

James Romeo, founder (and owner) of Romeo Music International.

Read the details in the other post, below...

---------------------------------------------------------------

Is there anyone that can name the title of the piano piece that plays when you are on hold at CVS Pharmacy? Also, would like to know as to who composed the piece, and as to who plays it.

Please note that it is not called "The Golden Dragon" (by Karl King), which is a concert band composition. The publisher of the piece (i.e., C.L. Barnhouse) says that CVS's info about it being titled "The Golden Dragon" is definitely incorrect.

Here is the link, to listen:

http://www.synthzone.com/songs/Golden%20Dragon.mp3

Any info is appreciated.

As I mentioned on the other thread, I've wondered too.

Anyway it sounds like just about anything played by Richard Clayderman:

I think it's called "Playing C Major Arpeggios A Few Times And Then Moving to E Major Sounds Very Dramatic If You Play Your Cards Right". smile

Sorry, I don't mean to be disrespectful to anybody. It is nice, and it fulfills its purpose well.

James Romeo is the pianist, for the CVS Pharmacy on hold piano piece.

Two questions remain:

1) What is the (correct) title of the piece?
2) Who is the composer, of the above?

With very few exceptions I find that listening to piano with synth strings layered on top makes me wish they hadn't added the strings. This isn't one of those exceptions. I think it's designed to make you hang up.

I found out that the composer is Enya - a very famous Irish vocalist & instrumentalist - who has about 35 albums or more - You can look her up on the net. Unfortunately I don't have the name of the song - An employee of Staples - where they have the same hold music as CVS told me she has the CD - I hope she will give me the name - She acted kind of offstandish when I asked her for it??? I will let you know - Thanks, Bruce
