I will be moving shortly. My piano has a Dampp-Chaser system installed. Can any techs out there tell me what I have to do to prevent any problems from occurring?

Don't forget to tell the piano movers that there is a dampp chaser, he should know how to remove the water tray.

If you do want to do it yourself, and you are a problem solver. I'm assuming you have a grand. Look at the black water tray,it's roughly 3'wide 6' long and 4'deep, it's hanging on silver rods that go across the beams. simply lift plastic hooks off the silver rods and bring tray straight down. The rest should be obvious. If you have two trays(as some larger grands do,use two people). Hope that helps.

Note: on that last message those are suppose to be inches not feet.

After unplugging, removing and emptying the water container, and alerting the movers to the presence of the system, I think you're done.
