My mom is tired of me playing Hanon/Czerny exercises and she's been bugging me about learning more pieces.

So far, I have the Chopin Waltz in A Minor(Posthumous) and the Nocturne in C#m(Posthumous). I'm learning the G minor Polonaise(also posthumous) at the moment but I want to work on another piece as well.

I've been playing the piano for 1.5 years and up until a month ago, I only had 30 mins of practice a week. I have my own piano now so I'll be practicing more from now on. What are some pieces that I can learn quickly at my level?

Bach's Little Preludes and Fugues. Children's Albums by Schumann, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, and Bartok. Sonatas by JC Bach. Rondos and Fantasies by Mozart. Bagatelles and Rondos by Beethoven. Lyric Pieces by Grieg. Stuff like that.

If you do not like one piece in these collections, or have too much trouble, go on to the next. See how many you can learn in a month. Then next year you can go on to other stuff.

Going back many years, I am able to remember some of the 1st pieces I ever learned. I thought some specific pieces might help you since you're still at a very early age in piano practice. I've attached links in case you're not familiar with the works, with GOOD interpretations. IMO.

Chopin - Waltz Op.69 no.1
Aldred Cortot performs...

Scriabin - Prelude Op.11 no.10
Igor Zhukov performs...

Scriabin - Etude Op.2 no.1
Vladimir Horowitz performs...

Chopin - Nocturne Op.9 no.2
Vladimir Horszowski performs...

Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata - 1st movement
Claudio Arrau performs...

That was pretty much my repertoire for about 4 months after an obligatory 4-6 months of noobie material. Hope that encourages you to learn more.
