(cough) you're amongst friends Mr. S&H and you had previously eluded to "many" pics of said abode. I've seen some snow ones before, would love to see more (or PM me a link where I can drool for an hour or so) Great room and great piano! - SC

And now for something completely different: Wow! It worked! Notice the mess My piano is a 1905 Howard, and the keyboard is a Casio Privia 100X. The stuff all over the floor is sheet music in various guises At least at the minute you can actually walk in the room, although getting onto the bench can be a little tricky. . . Cathy

Oh Cathy I laughed so much at your post. I WAS drooling over MrSH's house and very glorious piano room, and then? LOL! Oh dear. Your room is actually perfectly nice (and kinda like mine ) but compared to the Romantic, Sensuously lit, Warm toned Hunky piano room.... Well who could follow a photo like that? Thank you Mr SH, drool drool drool...

Yeah... I didn't want to bring my DP to Uni, so I am stuck with that for now. Although I did find a music shop with quite a few nice Piano's. so I plan on heading there every few weeks for practice :P

Here's mine. Sorry, nothing nearly as grand as Super-Hunky's palace. Never fear, the fireplace is unused.

Emphursis - that looks like what we got my mom because there is zero room for a piano in her small place, and her fingers got numb so she couldn't press the keys down on a regular piano. So I practice on it when I'm visiting. It works!
Dennis - what a nice setting. I have a fireplace I don't use (a corner one, about a foot behind the music stand on the right). I'd rather have the space, but in Santa Fe it's all the rage to have a "kiva" fireplace so there it was :\
Canonie - I laughed, too.

I think we should have a field trip to have a piano symposium at Mr. SH's house!! Show of hands??????
I will take a picture of my current set up--it will look strangely similar to Cathy's post!!
Emphursis=--I have a key board very similar to what you are using...same stand too! I love it...I especially love to put on my pbones, as I am a morning person, my hubby a night person...so I can get up on the weekends and jam..all to myself!!
Tx Dennis: I have a fireplace that I don't use in my room as well! The piano is beautiful!!
Love seeing everyone's setup...will post my picture later tonight!
Nancy

Well, I tried. Unfortunately computer literate I am not! Fun topic though, it's enjoyable seeing everyone's piano room pics!

Everybody likes pics. Especially of nice piano settings. Let's see a pic of your piano in your home. Here's mine. A Mason & Hamlin BB. It is in our den but I call it the piano louge where I perform nightly for an australian shepherd and a siamese cat! Just for kicks, a quick pic of the outside per heavily baited request. Wow nice place, fancy renting it out

How do you paste pic's I cannot figure out This took me a minute, too. In the FAQ's there's an item on how to upload if you have your picture on a server you've picked. And then, over on the right hand column of your screen there's a link, under the What's Hot, on Forums Rules & Help. If you scroll down a ways there's instructions on how to upload a picture to PW's server and then link to it in your post. It worked like a charm! Cathy

Here's an album on Facebook dedicated to my cute little 1946 Baldwin Acrosonic that I bought a couple weeks ago: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=198830&id=525507004&l=0703d5ba55I love seeing the pictures of your grand pianos. It gives me something to aspire to. Edit to say: I have that album's privacy settings set to "Everyone," so you should be able to see it even if you are not logged into Facebook.

CMohr, he is beautiful? Is he single? My Emma is 1 years old (kidding). She really likes to play the piano and I have to put her in her cage to prevent her from roll the keys with her nose.
Cathy, actually, my room looks like yours. It's just the most of the paper is chewed up by Emma. I will upload that picture. Later

Wow, I finally figured out how to upload a picture here! I had said I was going to post a picture of my new piano in July, so I'm glad this thread came up and I finally did it.
